In the Fall of 2020, I hired Terrell & Company Contracting to do some urgent home improvement work for my elderly parents who live in Pennsylvania. My mother recently had a medical emergency, and my father is handicapped, so I had limited time to get a much-needed handicapped shower built on the first level of their home. This was a big job, since the shower stall had to be built from scratch, and my parents’ home is very old. Plus, I live over 200 miles away in Virginia, so all my communication would have to be via phone and email. I found Terrell & Company on the Web and decided to “take a chance” hiring someone I didn’t know to work in my parents’ home.

As soon as I spoke to owner Pete Terrell, my anxiety was quelled. He was very friendly, calm, and reassuring. He listened to what we needed and responded promptly to my many emails and phone calls. My husband and I are very happy with the shower results and the quality workmanship done by Pete and all the guys on his team. They were detail-oriented and very neat, which is important to me. I was so happy with the handicapped shower results, I hired Terrell & Company to do 2 other jobs for my parents: installing  a safety hand rail for their front porch steps and replacing a frayed electric cable on the side of their house.
